anyone has ever done for you?
For me it was One Christmas day years ago, my husband had just died and my 2 daughters were very little, I had no money and a taxi driver I met and for some reason poured everything out to woke us up at 7am Chrstmas morning dressed as Father Xmas with a sack of toys and a handbell, he left the toys and my little girls really, really thought it was Santa and were so happy. How selfless and kind was that man?

Should also add that there were groceries and £20 cash, which was a lot to me then.

Your taxi driver surly was a selfless man.
I was driving home from an afternoon shift at midnight, my car made a huge bang noise then died. It was on a very long stretch of road that had no street lights. I was petrified as to what to do and where to go. About 2 mile down the road there was a complex of homes with only one light on. I knocked gently and this elderly man answered. I asked could I please use his phone and call road assistance. He said no turning walking away for a minit to come back with this huge tool kit. We walked back to my car where he worked on it till 2.30am, and got it up and running, for me. The following day before my shift I put a thankyou card with a lotto ticket in it signed thanks from the stranger in the night. I wonder to this day if he won!! Sure Hope So.

Oh my word, i have goosbumps all over from these stories!!!! Just amazing... I'm sure we have angels in our lives who are sent from God, but look like regular people... And apparently it has been proven too!
I had a major operation to my jaw 3 years ago. My boyfriend was so good to me. Even though i couldn't talk or move or anything he just sat there and held my hand and spoke to me. His presence made me feel so safe. I'll never forget that. Also, during this time, my friends all got together and made a card for me and each person wrote their own little message. I felt so special when i received it. It's something so small... yet so big.

What an amazing thing to do! I bet it made him feel good, too. Did you ever hear from him again?
I suppose the kindest thing has been when someone has looked after me when I've been sick. No-one has ever done anything really astoundingly kind, that I can recall. I had a good upbringing and education, though. I guess that's a kind of kindness.
*edit*
The last poster made me remember.
My ex-girlfriend was being...well, a completel b*tch. She knew I was moving to a new flat after we had broken up, and deliberately named an evening when she knew it would be near impossible for me to pick up my stuff in order to make it difficult. I phone around all my friends and they turned up with an army of cars and manpower to help me move. Even my boss turned up in her people carrier. That was a rpetty amazing thing to do for me.

That was incredibly sweet of him to do.
Mine was something that seems very small, but to this day I still remember it well. I was in high school and my best friend overdosed and was in intensive care. A male friend came over to be with me, and we went for a walk. I slipped and fell into a puddle and everything hit me and I started sobbing. He plopped down in the puddle next to me and just said everything will get better. I am not sure why to this day that him sitting in that puddle had such a huge impact on me, but it did.

Wow what a nice man, thanks for sharing :)
I think the kindest thing anyone did for me was looking after me when I was very ill. My boyfriend looked after me so well when my drink was spiked at a nightclub. It made us realise how much we mean to each other. We are still together and very happy :)

My best friend flew out to help me move, late at night, moved for 14 hours and then flew out the next morning.
