Absolutely. He will probably hurt you in ERA/WHIP but since he pitches so few innings it won't affect your overall numbers by too much.
At worst, pick him up and put him on your bench.

Definately add an other closer or 2. Julio would be a good choice as the Marlins should get plenty of save opportunities with a good pitching staff and a lineup that will not blow too many teams away.
Closers are very important because they pitch everyday. This means they can also pick up a W on any given day.
Many teams switch closers during the year due to injury and inefectiveness. Keep an eye who is performing well and try to pick them up off the waiver wire.

Closers are important, but Julio is a pretty tough call. Like other people say, he will probably hurt you in ERA and WHIP. It's also doubtful that he'll be the Marlins closer all year, so you might wind up with a temporary closer at best. But I think I would do it anyway. JJ Putz has some minor arm issues. I don't think they are that significant, but it wouldn't hurt to get Julio as insurance just in case.

definitely, putz is possibly beginning the year on the DL. depending on your league's size and bench sizes, there could possibly be other closers on the waiver wire. julio would be a must if wagner and putz are your only closers.
he's playing for a decent team and is a proven closer and should receive plenty of save opportunities.

I would. JJ Putz is a solid closer, but he might also bomb so its always good to have a backup plan. Plus, if you find that your closers are all solid, you can always move Jorge or Putz to fill a gap that you have somewhere else.

i did myself, but that was because there are not many closers left in my league, he is pretty consistent, but also very old. i think he will give you decent numbers, keep in mind, florida is a rebuilding team, they aren't going to win as many games as teams that are dominant every year, i say julio gets about 15 to 25 saves this year, if that
