It highlights the hipocracy of a 'justice' system that discriminates against blacks. The cross examination of the black kid who helped "bust up a chiffarobe" for the white girl is a prime example.

You wouldn't be trying to get Yahoo answers to do your homework assignment for you, now would you? I mean that doesn't sound like a question someone just sits around wondering about for the heck of it like they would wonder how many teaspoons there are in a cup. Read the book....it's EXCELLENT!! You'll regret it later on in life if you don't. The person who told you it's boring is completely WRONG!!

The hypocracy in the book is how the justice system and the jury are prejudiced against the black man in the book.

you know there are people everywhere who are trying to get all the classics stopped judgingthem by todays standards if you want to see hyprocrisy go to church
