I would like to repair some scratches on my Berlingo van so I went to Citroen to buy some paint gave them the colour code and they have no record of that colour ( code = KLJA ).
It is an ex British Gas van in dark blue yr 1999
Any help would be appreciated.

Any good car repair shop should be able to match the colour, as most paints now are made on the spot by a numeric machine, this way they only make what they need and do not have to waste expensive colours of some manufacturers.

Kett Auto Paints in Peterborough - they'll match it to that code UNLESS it was specifically made for BG. Will find number and post back

Kett autopaint Ltd
23 Alfric Square, Peterborough. 01733 239712

There is also a branch in Kings Lynn, Norfolk - they will match the paint if they do not have the correct colour code match to mix while you wait - they used to accept postal receipt of parts so that they could match the colour and then despatch paint and part back to you - don't know if they still do!

They will mix from as little as one spray can to many litres BUT WILL NOT supply you with 2 Pack Acrylic (due to hardeners/activators and toxicity) without proof that you have proper breathing and respiratory equipment.

Some automotive parts stores that sell paint ave a machine that can read a color and make a formula to match. PPG and Dupont both have a color reader. Some places don't have it though.
