I dreamt of a bigger *thing* and when I got it, it kind of hurt because it was huge.

Actually, What I dreamt of could not compare to what I've got. It's my own life with my own kids and my own family and friends, and that just keeps getting better everyday. It's amazing how your own life can be better than a fantasy, once you stop fantasizing and start focusing on what you DO have.

It's called getting beat down by the world. When I was young, and naive, I dreamed that I would be rich by now. Now that I'm older, and more cynical, I'm just happy that I can afford the necessities in life.

I respectfully disagree, while I am not the person I wanted to be, I could be a lot worse, and since I stopped smoking meth 9 months ago, my life is looking much better!

I was before I got tired of living my life that way. Now I have just about everything I've ever wanted and I'm living the life I always wanted to live. You just can't give up.
