Its the same in other sports, boxing, soccer etc. They get paid too much, then the enjoyment of spending all that money becomes more important to them than the game, then their form goes and the results tell the story. Indian cricketers have been getting huge sums of money for endorsing manufacturers products, personal appearances etc and the inevitable has happened. Too much hero worship, too much money.
