Yes. It isn't the money you are attracted to, it is the fact that they are responsible and self-sufficient. These are positive traits, and its totally okay to like men for this reason.

There are some very valid reasons for getting it to debt - bereavement, long term illness and other things that are out of our hands. The fact is though, that most debt is because people are irresponsible with their finances. I wouldn't be attracted to someone who is reckless with their money.

One of the reasons I was attracted to my husband was the fact that he was finacially stable. He was hard working and had progressed well through his chosen career. He was organised with his money and saved regularly. Had he been reckless and frivilous with his money - splashing out on unnessercary items, missing payments, taking out loans, then I don't think I'd have been attracted to him in the same way.

This isn't a shallow thing - its about respecting someone for being responsible.

Sure - if you are financially stable yourself. That means that you want a mate with the same value system as yourself - and that is smart. If you have no money - and you only want the financially stable men - well - that means you are a gold digger.

If your materialistic by all means. Money can buy alot of things, but it doesn't always bring happiness. You may be missing out on some great people because so are only concerned about $, but if you can get a great guy with money, now that's a power move. Good Luck!

Yes, its ok, my ex had money but he was not good in saving it, he kept on pulling money out of his mortgage to spend it on his car and other stuff, in the end after 5 years he hasn't even really paid off that much off his mortgage. Now I want a guy knows how to be more responsible with his money, it is the cause of many arguements within a marriage, so it is important...

yes, of course, but it shouldn't be your only reason, the man of your dreams could be going through a few problems and become financially secure later. But there is nothing wrong in liking a man who has his priorities in order, works hard and does what he needs to do so he doesn't have to struggle through life

Its just natural to want to make sure you wont have to take care of some dead beat or have to go thru paying most of the bills in a relationship. So its normal that most women are drawn to a man that is able to atleast take care of himself and his own bills at this time and show some stability in life.

If that is the only reason, you come off as a bit shallow. If it is part of a list of what you are looking for, we can certainly understand that.

"Gosh, honey, I love you so. Can I have cabfare home?"

You are going to be sadly disappointed in life....money and looks will quickly leave.

Just find someone who doesn't mind working...and go for true love.
