When i first started to go to the grocery store i did.... Now i just look over the kitchen and refrigerator and i can remember.... The only time i need a list is if we are making a new dish for dinner.....

Yes, I do make a list before going to the grocery store. It helps me to suppress impulse purchases which is important when maintaining a tight budget.

I have to or I buy too much crap. I also sometimes forget the list but after having written it all down I usually remember what was on it.

No, I always go there thinking "I don't need a list I will only buy a few things that are necessary" and I end up buying all the stupid things I didn't need, but that caught my eye.

I usually write the really important groceries I need and then just buy if I see something I like

Oh yes, I was going to say,,,I make a list so I can leave it home...actually, I'm getting better because we bring my granddaughter and don't want to spend any more time there than necessary!!!
