Anything in the medical field is a good choice right now, because the Baby Boom generation (that would be me, 51) is getting older all the time, and a larger number of people will need medical care than ever before.

A radiologist is a doctor, so you might be talking of an x-ray tech. You might consider becoming a Registered Nurse, they are in short supply and high demand, you can write your own ticket and make a pile of money.

Physical Therapists make a boatload of money, an obscene amount. But anyone willing to put up with the garbage sick people dish out, deserves it.

a radiologist makes tons of money,, you look at x-rays etc. but you go to school forever, at least 4 years college,, then medical school, than radiology school, then a couple of years as intern.
I had a girlfriend that took x-rays and did MRI's. took her two years to go through the training. she makes mid 30's
doesn't touch anything yucky except when she dated me,,
the MRI's seem to affect her short term memory a lot.

It's actually a great career that is useful and will get you a job. You'll probably have to do 4 years, but you'll get paid good.

Nope, it's flooded and you have to learn way too much. Not to mention all the nasty stuff you have to do with the patients. Gross!
