Why are there only 3 Matches a week on ECW?

Because other than Lashley and RVD no one on the roster can wrestle

I think it also has a lot to do with the tradition of ECW. It was only 1 hour back in the day and they delivered 3-4 of the hardest best performed matches in wrestling at the time. Now the quality of the matches is not the same now because it's not hardcore but the name is so I think that is why they keep it at just one our. Also it airs after the Smackdown! taping and that would make for some pretty long events that most people may not be able to sit through. You'd have Velocity from 7-8pm Smackdown! from 8-10pm and then ECW from 10-11pm. That would have the events ending at midnight if they added that extra hour. That's too long especially during the week.

1 hour of wrestling sucks. They manage to drag out Smackdown and Raw for 2 hrs. They should be able to do the same for ECW.

because its only 1 hour long and the wrestlers fighting there fight
for a very long time.... most of all, ECW has less wrestlers...
compared to raw or smackdown........

I guess the reason is ,because they only last an hour and that is it. I wish it would be 2 hours just like RAW and SMACKDOWN is. It would be very nice.
