Hi,
I have a regular Desktop PC and just got wireless Notebook. I am connected with high speed cable DSL. What do I need to purchase for both computers to access internet at the same time ?

I know I need some router correct ? Do I need a special card for my PC for wireless access ? Please help

get a wireless router. Netgear and Linksys sre good brands with an easy setup. if the desktop is already connected to DSL, you can simply put the wireless router "in between" netgear is the brand i most use and it comes with a VERY simple setup diagram that will detail what i am saying. i advise having the desktop connected with an ethernet cable as you may need to do some management of the router

since ur having wireless Notebook .Then u have change ur router into wireless DSL Router apart from it u need get wireless ethernet card(go for usb external wireless ethernet card its more useful than internal card

if you want to have a wireless acces to the net you should have wi-fi connection for your desktop, the you will need a router for you to connect your loptop wirelessly. and also your notebook should be wi-fi ready.
