Maybe he does know it already. I don't know. But, with that hairdo of his last night, someone was playing a joke - either him on us, or, the producers of American Idol on Sanjaya. Maybe he does realize he doesn't have the most talent and is now just trying to camp it up to be famous for something other than his singing. It's a curious thing, but, it's working because America is talking about him - more than any other contestant on the show.

As long as he is in the limelight (much like William Hung) he is not likely to care why he is "popular", just that he is.

It is sad as I heard this all started with Howard Stern (the shock jock controversial show radio/TV host, not Anna Nicole Smiths lawyer/boyfriend) called for all of his listeners to "Vote For The Worst" on American Idol as Howard finds the whole thing a joke and that is the only reason Sanjaya is has made it as far as he has.

Howard Stern has a huge following and has always thought "American Idol" was a joke. A few years back, he had the AI judges on the show and presented two singers and got the judges opinions on them...both singers were dissed and told they didn't have the talent, looks or voice or anything else it takes to make it as a singer in the music business. The joke was on the judges...the second singer was the lead singer from Saliva, Josey Scott, had just won a Grammy for co-writing and performing the song "Hero" from the movie "Spiderman". Was very funny when Howard pointed this out and then Josey told Paula that he had said "Hello" to her at the Grammys, then she recalled seeing him.

I'm not laughing at him, I think he just isn't in the same league with everyone else and the young girls with cell phones want to keep him on as eye candy. Don't worry, he'll get the boot soon enough. Sad that Chris is not as good as he started out, I really love his voice but he seems to be floundering. Gina is my current favorite, I love her last 3 performances!

Apparently not. He's turning into a bigger freak every week. If he should win (and I hope he doesn't), I don't think he'll have much of a career. He'll end up like that Wm. Hung or whatever his name is.

He won't realize it. His intelligence seems to be equal to his singing ability. He's and that site are ruining the show.

Oh, that's not fair.
He's cute.
And it's about time a gay man was given an opportunity in the US version of 'Your votes count for nothing, we're here to make money'.
