I met my husband online playing a game called Half-life 2. For the longest time we lied to people and told them we met through a friend. Now we are more honest. We are still happily married and have a baby girl.
I wondered what other weird or different ways other couples met.

I met my husband when he pulled me over for speeding..We have been happily married for 10yrs and have 3 beautiful daughters..By the way I never got a ticket..LOL..

I met my husband on migente.com. At the time I was a Spanish major looking for Spanish speaking people to chat with and he was in Japan (military) looking for a Latina woman. Well, I had no picture up and for some reason he messaged me. We talked online and via phone for months before he saw a picture and we later found out that both of us are American. He came back to the states Sept. 3, 2004 and we met. We were married Sept. 2, 2007!!

We met on the IRC, a precursor to the World Wide Web, in 1995.
She had just got her first email account and was working through the instructions. Pulled up a list of local users on the server, and did a "talk" command with the person at the top of the list, which happened to be me.
Still married, and very happily.

I met my husband at a gas station. Then after talking for a while realized that I used to live upstairs from his ex-wife and my kids knew his kids. It was pretty weird dating at first, especially thinking about some of the stuff the ex used to say about him. We dated for a year and have been happily married for 7 years.

I met my current fiance last year at Hooters watching the race. I was with my bf and he was with his gf. Me and my bf broke up and a couple months after that he and his girl broke up. We didn't see each other for a couple months, but one night I went to the Latin club with some of his friends (I really didn't want to go, but I went anyway). On the way back home at 2 in the morning we stopped by my fiance's bro's house and my fiance was there. We didn't talk to each other, we were both drunk, but when I left I yelled his name really loud and told him bye. He got my number from one of his friends and called me the next day. We have been happy ever since! :) We are getting married April 14th. I'm so glad I decided to let them talk me into going to the club that night!

I met my fiance while I was working in the same restaurant...I know that's not strange but the fact that I cornered him after his shift and MADE him take me out was a little odd. Most people were absolutely charmed by the whole thing. Actually, the man who was the GM of the restaurant threatened my job if I mistreated my fiance! How's that for gratitude?! Congrats!

I met my husband in a bar (Not so unusual) except I was the preganant bartender and he was the guy who only stopped in for one drink every Sunday after dropping his kids off after his weekend visit. He asked me out and Isaid "Why would you want to date me I'm Pregnant" His Reply was "If you had a one year old it would be the same thing, We just haven't met this one yet!" We've been together 7 years.

We meet on a Blind date it worked out well the 1st night she like my car and could handle my driving she was cute and we traveled 40 miles to date each weekend for year and half and now 24 yrs later its the greatest gift yet lifes a Blessing .

I met my current boyfriend at the bowling alley that we bowled at.
He said he knew me the year before, but to this day....I never noticed him then. No idea why. Then in 1998, I noticed him across the bar at the alley. We talked occasionally. Then, one day in July, he was talking to my best guy friend, and had asked if we were together. He said "No, that we are best friends". That night....July 27th, my current guy asked me for my phone number. OMG...I was so shocked...I couldn't even remember it...LOL. 8 1/2 yrs later we are still together. Been through the ups and downs, but still together.

I meant my gf through a girl that I met from myspace.
I messaged this girl one day and talked to her for awhile..she invited me to come to her house (which was two states away) I got in my car and drove there to meet her and when I got there I meet her roomate and things fell into place. Turned out her roomate was really interested in me and she ended up adding me on myspace..we talked everydy all day and eventually I asked her out and I ended up moving to her state and we live together now and have been toegther 15 months.
