I'm wanting to have these as part of my wedding flowers, but we're trying to use seasonal flowers only, because of the cost and the energy that it takes to produce flowers year round. The wedding is September first. Thanks.

Ranunculus like the cooler weather and their flowering season is spring to early summer. Their foliage dies down with the warmth of summer. Before planting in full sun, soak the tubers then plant 2-3" deep and 4-8" apart. This bright flower is often used in beds, borders, rock gardens and for fresh cut flowers. If you are going to replant the tuberous roots they should be stored dry at 50-55ºF over the winter.

I'm not sure how the flower season works .....I do know that in different part of the country / world the growing season permits longer growing season.
Good Luck to you and your wedding

Just a thought, if they are too exp. for you at that time, why not just use a few and fill in with other flowers that compliment them?
