Kay well!

We moved into this new house just over a year ago and even though we've had 2 rounds of flea bombs and the like cockroaches still keep popping up! 2 in the bathroom so far, 1 in the study, 1 in the bedroom and tonight ONE IN MY BED!

We have cats but they're food/litter is pretty tidy, yes I have had food in my room but its always pretty much cleaned up.

Any ideas what to do? We have indoor pets so no evil chemicals are really in the picture ...

ALL HELP APPRECIATED!

the combat roach traps work really well, they go in there eat it bring it back to the nest and kills the other roaches in the nest

and try not to eat in your room if you can avoid it, a crumb will attract them there

When I was a little girl, my Mother who was a fastidious housekeeper, woke up screaming one morning because she found a crushed cockroach underneath her. We lived in a flat in an old house and it wasn't easy keeping water bugs and cockroaches out....The other tenants next to us weren't all that clean. Anyway, Mother used some sort of a clear liquid purchased at the hardware store, that she painted on the wood in closets, up the kitchen walls, etc. It seemed to help, but I remember coming home from a weekend away and we found the kitchen sink, which was spotless, crawling with roaches.
We moved out of there pretty soon after, because Mother was killing herself, cleaning, spraying, painting, and screaming. :-) On the other hand, I am not the greatest housekeeper and have never had roaches or bugs, so go figure. I think you really need to contact a professional who will take into consideration your pets and use products accordingly. Those critters are hiding behind walls, cabinets, down the drain pipe, around the drainpipe, everywhere. Get help. They do carry disease.

Ahhhhh, I see your problem, cat food in your bedroom this is a poor habit to get into as far as roaches are concerned, if you don't want roaches in your bedroom then I would suggest you don't put food in there, roaches will come to food, keep food in your kitchen! Here is one way to get rid of them, First you have to vacuum thoroughly, even under your couch cushions and under the couch, everywhere as roaches lay hundreds of eggs and they will all hatch soon and you will be faced with more roaches, then when you have done this, you should make up a quick easy formula made up of Boric Acid and a teaspoon of Sugar and put in jar lids and place in behind appliances and where the roaches are coming in, but I must warn you do not put this stuff where you cats or any children can get at this as it is poison if you ingest it, you will have success with this but you must keep it out of reach of pets and children, also you should put this on your countertops behind appliances such as toasters etc. when I did this in my apartment years ago I had cats too, I made sure that I put it out of the way of them and never had no poisoning incident, just make sure it is well away from them and you will be fine. Good Luck !

I used to have a bad cockroach problem, but then I bought that combat roach gel. I have been roach free for more years than I can remember. That stuff, is put in cracks and corners where it isn't visible by the naked eye. Try it, I think you'll be happy with the result.

You are going to have to seek the assistance of an exterminator. You will also need to decontaminate/delouse all stuffed animal and other personal belongings. You will need to take your pets to the vet for treatments to kill the pests, as I am pretty certain that the pets fur can harbor eggs of the roaches....I would also speak to your landlord about compensation for all your out of pocket expenses! Lots of luck to ya!!!!!!

All you need is a spray bottle & some vinegar.
Vinegar takes a few seconds longer than roach spray to kill them but it does kill them. And best news, it's not harmful to your family or your pets.
God Bless

you need to get a bug guy in to check it out. where there's one roach, there's a million...........they multiply faster than any living thing on the planet!

it grosses me out that they were in bed with you, and here's why. in high school my honor's biology teacher told me that when she was in college their dorm was overrun with them, and they would wake up in the night with cock roaches eating their fingernails. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! one time we stayed in a hotel that was questionable, and i woke up in the night and found cock roaches on the baby's bottle which was laying beside her in the crib. DOUBLE UGH!!!!!!!! they are just way too nasty for me.

good luck!

total blessings to you!!!
