I am currently trying to buy the Creative ZVM and last week I checked on Amazon it was 200.51. Today I checked it was 199.99. I am wondering if Amazon.com often drop prices like that and will they go back up (Ori. Price 249.99) eventually? Thanks for reply in advance.

From my personal shopping experience all price drops on Amazon are continuous and do not revert back to the old price. Amazon is not a company that often promotes sales, and price drops are used as a result to shift items.
In this respect expect competition to be higher than normal and an item that is in demand or wanted by others may dissappear quickly.
You can always email amazon.com to confirm the price drop, the help service as I'm sure you are aware is impeccable.
