I sold a property last year in KL and would recommend getting a good agent to assist you. If you do not know the rules and regulations I would not advise selling it yourself or even going down that path. In Malaysia you will only have one agent working for you on your behalf, so the commision fees (2.5%) are reduced compared to other international markets. Where is your property in KL?

Don't sell your property if you're not that in need of money as the property appreciates in value.
