Thats a hard one to trouble shoot over the internet, but if I had to guess, you have some bad sectors on the hard drive......

Update: Bad ram will cause random reboots, not just once, but constantly.....I have had this happen before....

There could be some funny causes of such a problem.
One: It possibly could be a daily update setting on your PC. In this case, ya pc has got to restart itself immediately an update session is completed for the installed patches to take effect.
Again, this could be a virus attack which is design to attack ya boot sector immediately the system is booted and once after that it hides and waits for another restart.

Are you using an On-board video card? Perhaps you should set your Screen Resolution to a lower resolution. I suppose you know how to do that.
You can also try to update your video card driver.
