I am a third and fourth grade teacher and I give my third graders algebra...the thing is, algebra is as simple as 2 + ? = 4. Yes, that is normal and enjoy it...your teacher is preparing you well for your life. My fourth graders do algbra as complicated as this: 4 x N + 2 = 10

I guess it is. I didn't learn algebra until the 8th grade, but that was eons ago....back in the 1980's....learn it now so that it will be easier on you in high school.
