Try somewhere close to the equator. Strong storms are common all over the world in summer time, because more heat energy in the atmosphere causes more intense weather. Hurricanes start near the equator as very mild rain storms. As the storm spins away from the equator, it gains strength, speed, and intensity. If you take your honeymoon somewhere close to the equator, any bad weather you may encounter will at least be mild.

What do you like? Europe then why not try South of France (I love it there so bit biased) or Greek Island like Cephalonia (been twice, it is very romantic and beautiful). If you like more dramatic scenery go to Norway. Anywhere in Europe will avoid hurricanes. If you are in the US then I would suggest you go to Europe. It's much better than the States plus we have history too, with castles and stuff and everything!

Why would you want to avoid a hurricane on your honeymoon?

I thought that was what honeymoons were all about an earth shattering and moving experience?

Anyway try Corfu...wonderful place and not too busy.

If you want to stay in the U.S. then I suggest Hawaii. Maui is the most beautiful. If you want to leave the country, then go to Paris, the most romantic city in the world. Or Rome, Venice, or maybe even Barcelona spain. If you are more budget minded, then go on an Alaskan cruise.

Try Paris or Rome, both really romantic with lots to see and do!! If you want somewhere hot with a beach try Greece or if you can afford to push the boat out the Maldives. Or for fun Las Vegas!!!
