we have had wasps in the loft and there are 1 or 2 dosy ones still there. I plan to remove all the old insulatin ready to install new and board. Is ther something to spray to ensure anything still alive will die?

you must be in the southern hemisphere if your wasps are just going as in north they only just starting up......wasps do not stop in their nest to hibernate but cling to the underside of the roof and tiles.i think provided there are just a couple of dozy ones its safe to spray the nest area with raid and take away the nest...on the other hand if your in the north hemisphere then get a pro in to smoke em out

There are sprays you can get [ by Raid, I think ] that are specifically for wasps. It basically destroys the nest and everything in it.

if you can get hold of a CO2 fire extinguisher aim it directly at the wasps byke (nest) until entire area is white with frost,
using gloves and a black bin bag, place byke in bag and seal "before it defrosts" once sealed incinerate bag and contents.

yikes I have a real fear of these horrible things if they were in my roof I would of packed my bags and left, but raid really does work its the only spray that I know of that actually works.......good luck

contact the environmental health deep of you council and they will remove it for you

Set off a couple of bug bombs. that should run them off
