Why are you, a 43 year old woman asking the advice of mostly young teenagers on whether you should have another baby. This is a decision to be made by you, your husband (or father of the baby), your doctor and God. No one on this website can tell you yea or nay. We can only give you a scapegoat to blame if things don't work out as expected. "It's Yahoo's fault, everyone said to go for it" or "everyone said No" and now you are miserable looking for someone to blame. No matter what anyone else says, you are the one that has to deal with the consequences of your decision.

I am 43 and 35 weeks pregnant with my second baby. My daughter was born in 2000. I also had a death in 1999 at 51/2 months. I had a miscarriage after that when my daughter was 2 years old. I am so sorry that you had to go through all that ordeal, it's something that stays with you always and hurts deeply. I do believe that you should keep positive and don't over stress yourself. My advice to you is to have a complete check-up if you already have not done so, apparently, the issue is not getting pregnant, that you can do, maybe you should see a GYN specialist. They may be able to help you along with the whole process. Then you need to relax and let nature do what it does without getting overanxious. I wish you all the best of luck!!!!!

I am 7th of ten kids . I just wanted to let you know that having a baby at your age, is not that uncommon. my mother had her last, my brother at age 46, and they were both fine. of course, the doc' says there could always be complications, but hopfully not. i just think that if you feel you should try, then do so! you know your body! so, God bless! and good luck to you!

Talk to your doctor and a psychiatrists.....I'm not saying you are crazy, but it does seems like you have some things to discuss. I hope things work out for you. P.S. How does your husband feel about all this?
