Bless your heart. Yes, I have. It is normal and might be what you ate for dinner so don't let it scare you sarahmoose, okay?
Our dreams are not prophetic and no one can interpret them but you. It's just your mind skipping around through many things, some old some new, but just random roving. @8-)

That was a terrible dream ! Sometimes the being awake is better then living a dream. I am one of these fortunate ones that when the dream is getting a little nasty, I can get out of it. I don't know how I can do this. When I was pre-schooler I wasn't able to. I used to have bad dreams, so bad I can still recall a couple of them ! I know that there was at least one time that I stayed awake until the sun rose because I was too afraid to go back to sleep. I think bad dreams are just a reflection of some stress and that's how the brain sorts it out. A bit like the way junk works in our e-mail.

Yes,
My brother had a dream that I killed him. So that morning he came over to yell at me, because he was so upset that I had killed him in his dream. He was really really upset.
This is common in my family, we cant get rid of the feelings the dreams give us. They stay with us for days after the dream.
Many times I have woken up and not spoken to my other half because he did something in my dream that pissed me off. I know its a dream but the feeling just doesnt go away. At first he took it badly, but now he knows and is OK with it. He is used to it and just reminds me it was a dream.
But it also works for good feelings to. I can have a dream where I feel total joy and peace and that feeling will stay with me.

Yeah, I keep dreaming that I'm falling to my death. It's always a very long fall with plenty of time to think about it and it's a different fall each time like driving off a bend in the road and over a cliff or falling out of a plane.

I've had a few of those. Once I got shot in the back and when I woke up I had a really sharp pain in my back... it took me a second to calm down. Another time I had a dream the Bill Clinton came to my town... while he was in his 1st term... and it took me a few months to realize that it wasn't true - haha! I was in like 4th grade but still... the last one I had I woke up from a nightmare that my daughter had fallen off our 5th floor balcony. I knew it wasn't true when I woke up but it took me a long while to fall back to sleep.

Sometimes these types of dreams are an indication of something yet to come or something happening that currently in your life that resembles what your dream was about.

For instance, maybe you are scared of losing your dad because something recently happened, or you had a disagreement, etc.
