Life itself motivates me. after loosing a lot of people in my life including a younger sibling i realised life is too short and that in itself motivates me to wanting to be the best possible person i can be and by making myself and everyone around me as happy as i can.

Well lets see!

First of all your query is a not a straight forward in the box question and answer. reason i say this is that its has a lot to do with you as a person and how you feel you are either viewing yourself or beingviewed relative to other people you consider their behaviours to have weight.

The first step in motivating yourself is to start by doing an intense self portrait of yourself.. i.e. introspection. get to understand the human being you are now and how you got here, your mistakes, successess etc. once you've figured yourself out in a way it should be simple to extrapolate how you want to feel motivated.

The second step is separating the espects of what you yern to be motivated in, is it social motivation, financial growth of a more spiritual understanding motivation. unfortunately i'm still to see a person who honestly has grown in all this espects of human life. based on my knowledge you can achieve two of the espects at a time, never all three.

Once you decided upon what you greatly or mostly yern for then comes the trying stage.
It is most difficult if you wish to motivate yourself on your own, reason for this is that you mind is far more powerful and in control ythen you think you are and thus it tends to reason and counteract you reasoning and stimulation, especially when you've lost focus therefore the best method of trying to motivate yourself is find a friend who is sincere and not decieving. Preferably this friend must be on higher tip of understanding your espects then you are i.e. he/she must have experienced or be more "mature" than you, this will make him/her a reasonably good advicer for you. As you talk more and apply your conclusion more intergrately the more you feel motivated to excell even better therefore set goals and milestones for yourself, this will aid in giving you vision and hope thus motivate you not to feel demotivated.

what do you mean by better?! If it is your own definition that you wish to follow, it is very easy, as long as your definition is a realistic one. But if you are asking yourself to accept other people's definition of worthy/better, then perhaps you will never be truly motivated to change.

As trivial as this might sound becoming a better person, is really about following your OWN ideals. And this is indeed a very serious and a very big task. And you are the only one who can accomplish it.

How to do it? Honnor yourself, and anything that has contributed to what you are. Then reject it, and start anew.

I guess my motivation comes from wanting to live my best life and putting my best foot forward in every situation. My faith has a lot to do with it also. I really just want to live a happy, peaceful, simple life and the best way to do that is to be your best self every day and be kind to others around you. I do my best to treat others as I want to be treated and help those I can. I truly believe that you get back what you put out in life.

Any real life inspirational touching accounts... motivates me.
Unconditional love & support from love ones motivate me too.

First things first, one needs to define their area of Betterment.

Once you define areas you need to improve on... for the betterment of yaself... needless to say you need absolute determination to tick all your checklist.

Quite similar to making new year resolutions and keeping them of cos!

You do not need to try to be a better person. Just try not to do wrong things with your consciousness. Spartan
