Seems like my mind is always thinking about ..... finances .... relationships .... current events .... religion ...... what I've said and done ... what I'd like to say and do .... work issues etc.

Is this normal ? Is there anything that puts a mind at ease ???

Normal this day and age, there's so much going on around you all the time, it's very difficult not to pay attention to it all.

If you need to slow down, and everyone does from time to time, then meditation or trance are the best ways I've found of shutting my mind off. Did you know you have a switch in your head that allows you to tone things down? Usually it's a dial, but yours might be different. Simply turn the dial down and your mind will quieten.
