I think it would be wise if he retires now and give place for new fresh young cricketers....

It is NOT records that matter, but the way you play the game,During the past three years ,Sachin has been a slogger, and it is the media hype (given also to Amitabh and Sania) that he is called a 'master blaster'. Just see the way he played in the World Cup -7 of 26 balls against Bangladesh. Of these seven runs, there was a four of a ball misdirected on to his legs. Such is his dominance! Against Sri Lanka he was clueless against a ball from Fernando, and was not aware that he was bowled. He was trying to regain his crease as if someone was going to stump him or get him run out.
But as I have seen this dirty world, he will continue, due to the Board Mumbai factor, the sponsors factor etc.
And just look-there is one Mr Navrekar, I do not know who, but he says that Dravid, Sehwag, and Ganguly must retire. That is, those who are performing should retire, and the one whose display was the most humilitating in the World Cup (Sachin) must continue. Is he living in the past?

He should not continue and take retirement...If he plays 3-4 more onedays and doesnt perform in that then he will be thrown out of the team and it will not be a good end of his carrear (though the end of his carrear can not be said good now after this world cup). Not Only him but other players like Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan, Dhoni and most obviously Virender Sehwag should now take retirement before the board kick their azz.

Yeah sure ! He has to continue building his career statistics you know. It doesn't matter if his team continues to lose tournaments and series.
