I was with the jocks....the popular crowd & the smart kids....I was a cheerleader....made straight A's & B's....& was pretty popular too....
I had friends in all the "groups"...mainly because we all grew up together...I didn't really go for social standing....I was more interested in them then how much money Mommy & Daddy had in the bank...or whether or not they failed the science test....

The 'greebos', 'goths' or 'skaters', depending on what the ignorant people at my school wanted to label us as! None of which were actually correct!
Although, even though I was 'part' of this group, I talked to everyone and had friends in lots of different groups. The best way to be, I think!

I was with the quiet and peaceful stoners. We took our schooling to a new level of enlightenment... gave it meaning and held learning sacred. as I remember...The jocks were busy drinking and killing thier friends in car accidents. Their illusion of "smartness" did not save their friends.

IN calss with the preps, talked to the jocks....hung out with the someoen elses....not sure waht to call em. MY group was pretty mixed. I just picked who i liked and if they also liked my friends it worked. The preps in my school also = ultraconserative christian. Like to the brainwashed extent. I don't care if you are religious.....its not why you got 100 on your math exam though.

I wasn't part of any gang. I am not a group/gang type person. I hang by myself. As a kid I was constantly in fights. And I do speak my mind. I tell you right where I am coming from.

I was in my own gang, consisting of... Me.
I was an angsty loner who got into trouble and got straight A grades in between getting sent home. I was too badly behaved to be in with the good, hard working kids and too smart to be in with the dumb kids.

I was the joker at school, always making people laugh, which gave me a free pass to all the social groups.
