It depends what kind of lie you are going to tell. If it doesnt hurt any one physically or mentally and if you feel that by telling truth you will hurt your mother a lot, I think it's no harm in telling lie. Just make sure after you tell lie you decide a punishment for yourself. For example if you are going to tell lie that you failed in Mathematics exam. Once you tell lie make sure that next time you study hard and pass that with good grades.
As long as you dont hurt anyone sentiments I dont see any harm in telling a small lie and remember to take some punishment.

well,it depends.if this one lie has a risk of affecting ur future bond of faith & trust with ur mom,don't do it.if it's a simple white lie that's likely to be forgotten about in the near future then go on with it.if it's serious enough then I believe u should forget the thing for believe me mate there's nothing more important than ur mom.

Don't lie Moms have there ways to find out stuff and when she finds out (which she will) than you are going to be in more trouble with her than if you just straight out told her

Dont do it, if you lie to your mother it means you can lie to anyone else. You will be untrusted if anybody knows

No, you shouldn't. If you lie, you will feel guilty and regret what you did. If you tell the truth, though she will be dissappointed IF YOU did something bad but she will forgive you.
