Buy any of the Kings of Leons 3 albums and you wont be dissapointed (my personal fave is AHA SHAKE HEARTBREAK), Wolfmothers album is also amazing and will really get you rockin. You've really got me thinkin now there are so many great rock albums out at the moment....erm....Guns n Roses new album is supposed to be amazing...a good source informed me...think i'll go and download it myself!!

'We Dont Need To Whisper' by Angels and Airwaves is a bit of a masterpiece. The frontman is Tom Delonge from Blink182. Maybe not heavy enough for a fan of pure rock though but it sounds awesome.

The Rakes,they have two albums out both good.
Anything by Pulp, Jesus and Marychain, Small Faces or Elastica.
The Kaiser Chiefs new album is actually very good. I think they have something beyond the trendy.

I'd recommend 'Daughtry' by the band Daughtry (fronted by American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry) they're really good,and the cd is excellent!!
