We do with my youngest son, because he lies so much that we figured if we let him continue to do it that one day the lie will get to big and he will get caught up in it and hopefully he will have the lie back fire on him and he will to start telling the truth!

Yes....esp. when it is really big lies that you KNOW they can not prove....so it save it for another time...then call them on it...& watch them squirm....I have had to do this ALOT with one friend of mine...she kept telling everyone she was a cheerleader or that she has met certain celebrities.....or that she has been pregnant 12 times...with only 1 child....(her Husband told me she was only pregnant once....& he has known her since 4th grade....plus she was never a cheerleader...nor has she met any celebrities....)....hmmm....yeah...we are not that close of friends...

yah sometimes..i sit there and laugh and smile to myself and let them go on and on..then out of the blue i can bust them and make them stutter their words and get all defensive.
