I'm 3 weeks late exactly today. The last hpt I took was last Tuesday however it was negative. I've been to the doctors yesterday and find my result out tomorrow, the doctor didn't really answer my question so if any one has advice please tell me... If the other tests were negative last week are there chances of me still being pregnant or would it of shown by now? Any advice is much appreciated.. Thanks :)

Yes, yes! I had three negatives on my last before I got a positive; first negative at two weeks overdue was a home test; I went to my G.P. a week later and got another negative; he told me that as i was 38, it could be the start of the MENOPAUSE!! bought a home test again a few days later; negative again..yet I just knew...Waited another week; by then I would have been due the second period - went to a family planning centre; and ther it was, FINALLY a positive! My son is 15 on Sunday!

A friend of mine took 4 hpt and each one came back negative. So she thought nothing of it. However she WAS pregnant it's just she took the tests a little bit too early. So maybe give it a few more days and take another test.

you can have a false negative but not a false positive, there is still a chance you are pregnant id suggest doing another test now as your hormones double every two days with pregnancy and its a week since your last one it should show by now. good luck and i hope you get the outcome you are wanting

if you have not had a positive result in the last 3 weeks you have never been pregnant,the hcg hormone would show up in your urine by now,if the result from gp comes back negative he will probley send you for further tests as its not right your so late he may even suggest a scan,a hpt is more reliable than doctors anyway they will tel you this.xx

HI! my name is mandi, and im 32 weeks pregnant. YES! you can definately still be pregnant. I took test after test, and the results were negative negative negative! lol. I didnt get a positive result until about my 7th week! It was so aggrivating! So good luck, and please keep in touch and let me know about the doctors tomorrow!

i had two negative tests which i took bout a week apart then i took a 3rd a few days after which came up positive,the chances are you are pregnant mayb u did it wrong good luck

usually it would show by now but saying that i took 2 doctors p,tests and they both came back negative so i decided to buy my own because i was feeling very sick and was 2 wks late and they came back positive so maybe you should just go to the shop and buy one. good luck. xxx
