It seems that more people tend to like Dreamweaver over Front Page. However, Front Page 2003 came with significant improvements.
If you're a beginner or you want a quick and easy web designing tool, Front Page seems to be the better option. But if you are advanced and want more challenge, as most people claim, your first choice must be Dreamweaver.
As for switching, some complain about learning the basics of Dreamweaver's sophistication. It can be a bit daunting to learn, really, as the program is not for beginners. BUT once you get used to its features, especially the layers, you will agree that Dreamweaver is a wonderful program that you can't not use when creating a web design.

Both programs do almost the same work
If you are good with FrontPage, it won't take u long to figure out how to work on Dreamweaver
You need to get to know the design tool in Dreamweaver
if u r a coder, won't be a problem

Dreamweaver is pretty straightforward, it has a lot of helpers right on the application, and if you search google for "Dreamweaver tutorials" you'll get tons of help.
