After 11 years of smoking & drinking i stopped(Thank God).I however put on some weight. I used to be very slender. My husband tells me that i am sexier than ever. I wear a size 12 now...i used to be a perfect 10. The thing is i dont feel good about myself. I eat healthy foods and excersice but it i dont loose any weight. I miss the confident me.We are also trying for a baby and i keep telling myself that i will loose all the weight one time when the baby is born..but we have been trying for 3 months now and who knows how long still before i get pregnant i have to walk around with my body. It husrts my husband that Im so unhappy and he supports me 100%..why is it so hard to accept myself?..I wont ever resort back to smoking or drinking...

Hey - size 12 is what I am, having gone from an 8/10. I love my new curves, I really do. I actually have a shape!! I have boobs that people would pay to have, but I got them for free! Ive got a butt that J-Lo would be proud of!! Above all, I feel better about myself. Youll get used to your new size soon enough, plus with a baby in the pipeline (so to speak!) youll ahve to accept youre gonna get bigger, like a LOT bigger. Be happy babes and embrace life with your new found curves!xx

Being a Human it's natural trying to accomplish, please, compliments, changing, ups and downs. Before you please your Husband or any others, you got to be happy and try to love your self no matter what's going on your body and life style. It's good to stop smocking, drinking, and you gain weight, and the precious baby around soon. Try to live, work out one day at a time. It won't have a solution like majic we expect and try to work hard to loose your weight, and do some exercise, and cut a little bit of heavy food and be happy and active. Human always love to do day by day new stuff and some times never satisfied and it's not you, it's a human nature, born weakness, and No body's perfect and be confident in your self and keep look after your life live as a possitive. Try to go for proper Diet, less food, Exercise, walk around, keep occupied and plan your Family life with all the things that your facing, and don't give up hopes, and look forward. Love your self, and think that you're a beautiful, and you have some thing to offer for your self and to your Husband. If you have a good heart, honest, good habbits, possitive, Who care's about your Weight,and it doesn't matter being heavy weight. Love, beauty comes in side, not out body, features, personality. Don't dissapoint any thing, and try to overcome in every area of your life, and try to fight it, and same time pray.

I was slim and now have expended. Used to play games and was very active. Injuries during games and later depression took a toll on me. I know and acknowlege that it is all my doing that has affected my figure,size and weight. Took me awhile to come to terms with it. Reality check tells me I wont ever go slim again, but with proper diet and some regular exercise, am looking better and I feel good. Only you can make yourself feel good by realising what you have done, and what you can do now to improve things for you and your loved ones. By the way, my nephews say that I look better now then my slimmer days. So like your husband says...a sexier you may be better...

Considering smoking and drinking can result in weight loss so I'm not surprised that your weight gain isn't natural. You should just accept this is your normal weight and try to forget about it. As for the baby, try not to expect the weight is going to go away. If it doesn't you will end up being depressed over it.

it is hard sometimes to accept our own physical changes, i was a size 8 up until 12 months ago and now i am almost a size 12,everyone says i look great but i like you am having a hard time,i even went to the lengths of having body wraps and bought slimming pants,you have to take it a day at a time look at yourself in the mirror and try to see what others do,it's hard but you have to try to accept yourself for who you are and what you look like,look at the things you do like about yourself,try not to stress so much over it as that can cause problems too.

when you have your baby believe me you will learn to love your self again ,you got the support of a great man who does not care that you have gone to a size 12 which is a nice size an good for you giving up fags an drink ,does in it self mean you care especially as it for a baby ,it shows you want a family an it is not all about you .

get your self a full length mirror and look at one part of you body that you are happy with and say outloud that is beutiful
keep doing this everyday until you are naked and by the end of the month you will be more accepting
a size 12 is a wonderful size figure
not 2 skinny and not fat

Well done for giving up the smoking and drinking!Size 12 isnt exactly big, but it depends what you feel comfortable with.learn to focus on your good features .your husband obviously loves you and finds you attractive, so accept his compliments and stop being so hard on yourself.
