Where do all my lighers go?

Wow i figured this would've been asked a million times.

I smoke 2 packs a day and absoultly can never find a lighter. Well i ahve like 8 butane ones i got as presants over the years and the refillability of them sucks. So they are all empty.

I seriously buy a new lighter every 3 days. Then a month later i'll start finding them in the most random places.

But yeah...for now...where is my lighter. I lit a cig 10 min ago....i haven't moved from this chair and im' ready for another and i absolutly can't find it.

I figure no one asked this question before since i misspelled "lighter" haha

I found this specific lighter. It was in my bottle of vitamins. Its one of those mini lightesr. I was about to take my vitamins, but i guess i did a few min back.

What i hate hte most is when you are walkign somewhere...lite a smoke.......decide not to chain smoke and after you throw out your cig decide that was a bad idea and light up another.....Except your lighter is gone. Not in any pockets...didn't get tucked away in your wallet....Not in the cig box. IT LEFT EXISTENCE>

So you buy another....then 20 minutes later you realize you have 2 lighters.

It is a conspiracy. Mine do they same thing. So now I refuse to buy lighters and just 'accidentally' steal them off other people. Someone is always about to lend you a light and then you just pocket it. Though now my friends are on to me and watch their lighters closely when I am about..I spend enough on ciggies, I refuse to pay for lighters too.

LOL! I can't keep a lighter for more than a couple of lights and it's gone! I usually go through a 5 pack in a day or so. When they are all gone, I start finding them again. Try: under the chair, in your pocket, in the car, in the shower, under the stove. I have found lighters in all these places! Good luck with that!

There are evil lighter goblins, that steal them and then put them in a place you least expect right when you dont it!!!

I found a whole bunch the other day and put them in the drawer in my cupboard so they were safe. But when I couldnt find the one I had been using I went to the drawer and found only 2 and they were out of gas!!!! What happend to the other 8? Still cant find them. But as soon as I buy a new one, they will all reappear again.

Clearly it's a conspiracy and your lighters are hooking up with my lighters and running off with each other. If I find any of mine and some of yours are with mine, I'll make sure to send them home to you. We really need to sit down and have a talk with them about their behavior! It's absolutely frustrating and cannot be tolerated!

I manage to lose all the lighters and my husband manages to constantly lose his tubes of ChapStick. The man buys 2 or 3 tubes a week! Then finds them within 24 hours of buying the new ones! We have a ChapStick inventory now! lol

You should have NEVER asked this...I smoke too, but you know everyone else that answers this is gonna be like "You shouldn't smoke anyway"...WHATEVER!!! Good luck with finding ur lighter, cause I lose mine all the time too. But it's always funny when you find them in strange places :)

I've found that the only feasible solution is to saturate my environment with lighters, to the point where they can't escape. I only need to use 5 or so per room, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Maybe you should start buying them in bulk.

The lighter fairy comes and takes them to try and make you not smoke i have one here but it does not work i keep one in my pocket that fools them.

this same thing happens to me....my lighters seem to slowly disappear then when i buy new ones the old ones reappear.

have you looked in your pockets, on the floor, around the computer, in the chair (if possible),etc...

Mine is usually in the cushions or on the floorboards of my car! You might just want to stand up and it will fall from somewhere like fire-raining from the sky!
