It is fine, but I would plant it somewhere where they cannot reach it, then cut off bits and feed it to them.
My horse loved it, but he wouldn't have given a plant to grow if it was growing in the field.

I don't think gorse is actually poisonous to horses but if you plant it in areas where horses graze you have the problem of gorse being quite prickly. Horses are prone to getting thorns etc in their legs, if you have one penetrate the joint or a tendon sheath it can cause major problems involving a surgical joint flush to prevent serious infection. I have had to euthanase horses in the past when something as simple as a thorn has caused a major infection in the tendon sheath which despite intensive nursing & surgery we have been unable to save the horse.

of course not,a gorse is a flower it is not good for horse and donkey only in goats.

There is a lot of gorse growing wild in the New Forest, here, in the UK, and the ponies seem fine!

yeah its no bother some horses dont eat it. but my pony and donkeys do. so does my neighbours goat!!!!!!!!!

Gorse contains prussic acid; goats can tolerate it. It seems to be used as a feed for horses in some places.
