I am a qualified MD so take heed and act accordingly
What you have is serious. You need to seek immediate medical attention. I feel you may have an embolism. That is a clot in a vein of your leg. If you have been immobile for any length of time and the sheets and blankets too tight at the foot of th e bed you have restricted the circulation and a clot has formed. The treatment is Heparin to dissolve the clot before you have it go to the heart or brain.
Get it seen to ASAP. In fact you need to call an ambulance and explain the details, rather than trying to mobilize, which may dislodge the clot .

GO TO A & E!!!!
That sounds just like what happened to a friend of mine she thought her bone had snaped and it turned out to be Thrombosis.
Thrombosis is blood clots in your viens. Do you have any unexplained bruises on your body? If you do then don't mess about get straight to hospital! I know it sounds alarming but if it isn't caught in time it's fatal.
You should go and get checked anyway if your already not well. Don't wait until friday.
Good luck.

I think you had better get yourself to a Doctor or A+E pronto. If you have broken it and it starts to heal then you are in for a lot more pain later when they re break it to correct the damage!

Could be bed sores. But if I was you get to the doctor beforehand if its out of the blue and unusual. Our bodies don't usually cause great pain for nothing.
Get well soon.

Well, if it was broken it would probably be swollen and you would not be able to walk on it at all, but you should go and get it checked out anyway, you shouldn't stay in pain.
