If your looking for a spell check to attach to a browser like IE or Firefox this is what I use:

Yahoo Reference is a good place to find dictionaries, thesauruses, etc

use firefox and download the plugin for dictionary and whenever you type a bad spelling via using firefox, it will underline the word and will offer suggestions of the closest spelling it thinks you want to type.

It's free of course =)
