You cannot stop her as the house is half hers . Is your name on the deed or title? Contact a lawyer and see what your rights are in this matter.... They may be able to offer advice and help with this. Even if she can sell it you may be entitled to half of what she makes from selling it . Why dont you buy the house from your wife? This would solve the problem.

You can't if you are divorced and she has the property in the settlement.

If your just separated you can put a mechanics lean on it or if your name is on the loan for the house, she can't sell it legally without your signature.

Look into real estate laws from your country, state or wherever you may be from. Do a quick Google search and you will find the laws that pertain to you.

You can't. My x-wife did it to me.

You might be able to have the court stop the sale.

Find out who the Realtor is and tell them you will not agree to the sale. Assuming you own half of the property and can keep up with mortgage payments.

If she does sell it, you get half (if its in both your names). If you'ld rather keep the house, ask her to move out and buy her half. That way its all in your name and she gets her money from the house. Talk to a real estate agent or a real estate lawyer about this.

you did not say whose name the house is in. If it is joint then you will need to resister it with the land resister people, the take you name off of the mortgage if you have one then that way you are not responsible for the mortgage payments. That way she will not be able to sell it with out your consent

Only if your name is still on the ownership details, if you signed the house to her or it was her house all along then there nothing you can do.

My Dad tried the same thing after signing the house to my Mum but once he signed on the dotted line it was game over

you cant really stop her from selling the house. you could get it written in the divorce that you want a percentage of whatever she sells it for. are there children involved???

If you are bother still married (only seperated) and both names are still on the title, you can get yourself a lawyer and stop it.

If you are divorced and it is hers, free and clear...there is nothing you can do except to offer to buy it.

if she sells it you will probs get half after all your joint debt has been settled however if you want the house you could offer her an amount that you would recieve if it were sold and buy her out

Offer her some money, buy her out. Your name should be on the mortgage, she can't sell it as technically it isn't hers.
