My favourite commentator is Tony Greig for his voice is so lively. And Simon Tauffel for he seldom gives a wrong decision.

Amongst current umpires, I am a fan of Simon Taufel. He is extremely impartial. He does not seem to get over-awed by pressure from the fielding side. I have also seen his interviews in which he actually trains just like the players to stay fit. He watches videos over and over again just to evaluate his performance. The efforthe puts in is unmatched.

Well, as far as commentators go, my vote definitely goes to Tony Greig... and i have reasons.

No one brings the sort of excitement that he does. Especially when the match is going down to the wire, his voice really builds up your heart-rate. My favorite line is "OH-HO-HO... What a SHOT"

I also like him because he is very impartial. I have a lot of respect for all commentators, but nearly all of them have this tendency to slightly lean towards their own team.

Steve Bucknor beyond any doubt is the most respected umpire in all the cricket playing nations. Billy Bowden and Simon Taufell are equally good as Bowden entertains the crowd besides giving the best decisions and Simon being so young has a tremendous record of umpiring and seldom his "hawk eye'' make any mistake. Tony Greig is a great commentator who can make even a third rated match a world cup final with his enthusiastic commentary. Richie Benaud, Tony Cozier, Ravi Shastari are also good for making fair comments and deep knowledge of the game.

Nothing beats the combo of Kerry O'Keeffe and Harsha Bhogle together on radio. I don't know if we would hear them again together.
