We moved into our 1st home October last year, we bought it as much for the feel of the place as the quality of the house. Recently my boyfriend has seen what he described as an orb (Derek Acora fan) move along the wall in the bedroom in the dark. A couple of weeks ago i used the DVD player upstairs in the evening and when i went to use it again the next morning my BF change the fuse and it worked. Then sunday my BF went to turn the PC on in the spare room again that wouldnt come on he then change the fuse and it worked although the fuse which was taken out worked in other things. Any ideas I know it could be just one of those things i'm a complete sceptic.

Could very possibly be a ghost. I really am a believer now from something that happened to me and my friend when I was 18. My friend is older than me and lives in Cemetary House in Cemetary Lane (yes the house is on the grounds of a very old and creepy cemetary). Anyway, her kids were staying away at their dad's so she invited me to stay over. It was just the two of us in the house and we had pizza and watched a few chick flicks and she picked up her mirror and then put it on one of her sides. I told her that I thought that the mirror would look bettre above the fireplace and she told me that she couldn't put it there as it would get moved during the night. She said that the ghosts didn't like anything above the fireplace.
Anyway, we played around and put loads of things above the fireplace for fun. That night (after we had very securely locked the doors and no one else has a key) we went up to bed. I slept on the floor right by the door and my friend was in the bed. There is no way my friend could have got passed me without me knowing because the door would have whacked me in the head and I am a reallly light sleeper, especially when not at home. Also, no one could get in the house as no one else had a key and there was also internal bolts on every single door.
I went down with my friend in the morning (there is no way she could have gone into the front room without me noticing) and EVERYTHING we put above the fireplace had been moved. Not just on the floor but to the shelves opposite and onto the coffee table.
That had me a believer.

If it was a ghost I'm sure you would be able to sense it's presence. The best thing to do in this situation is to confront what you think is the ghost, explain to it that you are living there now and that what ever it is that it needs to move on. If this does not work get an exorcism on the house. i know this probably sounds stupid but i am a strong believer in ghosts. In the house we moved into 3 years ago i felt an overwhelming presence in the house which made me feel ill with fear and uncomfortable. One day i approached it and life got better.
Hope this helps.

The part of the human body containing human identity. This term was created to avoid confusion about the definition of a man and the soul in the cybernetic age.

Ghosts are the supposed apparitions of the dead. A ghost is often thought to be the spirit or soul of a person who has remained on Earth after death. According to some sources, a ghost may be the personality of a person after their death, and not tied directly to the soul or spirit. Every culture in the world carries stories about ghosts, but they vary across time and place, with disagreements both as to what ghosts are and whether they exist in reality. An energy field that repeatedly appears in the same location and is often perceived as a “living presence.” The appearance of a ghost is often accompanied with a drop in temperature. Ghosts are considered to be entities that are held earth bound for various reasons. Due to misinformation from former education, or religious beliefs, the entity may not be aware that he or she is dead. There may be an emotional tie from the past that is not understood and that binds them to the earth plane. ...

Sounds more like an electrical wiring problem than a ghost to me.

The orb could have been a reflection of light moving across the wall. Or just in his imagination.

No Ghost, its existence is only a fiction. Take it out from your mind. The real reason must be, whole or part of wiring at your Home, must have connected to, two different supply lines. Hence even one fuse was removed, another is working. Get checked by an Electrician.

I have observed lights on the wall of my own bedroom in the past and they weren't explainable. This sounds like a textbook electrical fault caused by spirit/ghost presence

Have an electrician check that fuse box. It's not putting enough ampereage out and may be dangerous.

Most likely an electrical fault I'm afraid. It's probable that as a fan of Derek Acora, your boyf imagined it or let his imagination run away with him.

It might be a ghost, or it might be an electrical fault. Again, it could be a psychical thing where you or your boyfriend are 'jinxes' (the brain works on electrical impulse).
