Is your bag too heavy?? Then it would slip. Maybe try wearing it
across your chest..then it might be more secure too.

I have this problem with all bags. I usually either put it over my neck or I reach across my chest with my other hand and hold it. An idea I haven´t tried is somehow attaching the bag to a belt, suspenders, bra strap, scarf, shawl or something else you are wearing, maybe you could find a creative solution. The best would be to find some cute guy to carry your bag for you :-) If the problem is the fabric you might be able to add a sweater or vest above the blouse in less slippery fabric, but I guess it depends on the weather.

Not really, unless you wear it over the other shoulder across your chest if the straps are long enough to allow it. If it tends to keep slipping, you probably look strange because not only will you keep hitching up your shoulder as if you've got a tic, but you'll unconsciously be walking with that shoulder raised higher than the other to try to keep the strap to stay on. And that defeats the purpose of it being cute.

hi vicky
being a boy i won't no much about this but i would like to give you my thoughts eni way.Y not wear someting that causes friction against your bag to stop it form slipping but doesn't damage the bag.
U culd take it 2 one of those shops were they mend clothes to ask them to sow on a new strap or something that will go with the bag and also can be tightened to size.
Use colour coded velcro.
i no this ain't much and may not be that useful but i hope still helps in someway

What are you practise for? sport struggling with or self protection? For events struggling with and some schoolyard brawls it really is okay. you're incredibly quick with the palms and the mixtures. For self protection you opt for slightly extra even with the reality that. come across a instructor to coach you in case you opt for to study self protection.

either swing it in your hands, (you wouldn't have to deal w/ your shoulders at all there) or while it's on your shoulders hold it there w/ your hand, OR, just don't wear jersey fabric!!!
hope i helped!
