I hate socks and rarely wear them. I've even been known to wear sandals in winter. Don't really know why, just can't stand them.....But I have taken my shoes off at work a few times.

Yes. It was winter and I had been working outside and my feet got wet. I actually put on some slippers for the rest of the day. I worked in a body shop office where I had little contact with actual clients and the guys in the shop just thought it was "cute". Especially when they seen my big over sized duck slippers!

I've taken off my shoes at work (while under my desk), but never my socks. That's overly-unprofessional.

YEs, when I am wearing my sandals, and there is no calls for the taxi, I take my sandals right off, and let my bare feet air out.

Yeah and I put my feet on the desk, my boss used to do this and fall asleep, then hed let out one of those snort snores and scare himself awake and nearly fall off his chair, that was so good.
