Use some type of shower sponge, either that or use your own soap. I know what you are talking about. I have a soap for my husband (he is a mechanic and comes home smelling oily and greasy,) so using different soaps is not a bad idea.

Hey, it's soap. You rinse it off after you use it and what does it matter where you used it? But why not just use the soap on a wash cloth or something instead of directly on you?

I think soap should be kept personal. I know soap holds bacteria and keep my soap seperate. Soap is cheap anyway so it's easy!

Just ask the roommate whether he or she wants to share the soap, or whether they want you to use your own soap. They'd be just as annoyed by their soap slowly disappearing whether you used it on all of you or only part of you.

Only if your roommate doesn't mind, but I doubt he'd want you using his soap.
