you can
the right hand of the accordion is the same
as a piano keyboard
the left however, isn;t AT ALL!
it;s bass and chord buttons in a system of adjacent
5ths and 4ths
with some exceptions
so that won;t work
though it;s not hard to learn that

the left hand parts written for piano will have
to be converted to approximate chords, then
you have to figure out where they
are

though the internet is full of diagrams
and layouts

search for "stradella bass * layout"

You can use piano sheet music for any instrument if you know what your doing. it even would give a drummer a good idea of what is required.

Yes. However, you don't have the same number of octaves on an accordian, so you'd have to look at it to see if it falls within the range. Most popular music will.
