I remember a song called "Seasons in the Sun" about someone who was dying who says Goodbye to each member of his family in the various verses, but, sorry, I do not know the singer or the composer. Then there are songs by classical composers, especially of a religious nature, such as "Angels, ever bright and fair" or spirituals such as "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot." There are also country songs, such as "Jim, I wore a tie today" in which Jim´s friends describe the preparations for his funeral. Otherwise I think it depends on whose funeral it is. The song need not be about death, but more about the relationship you had to the deceased or it could be one of his/her favorite songs.

"My Immortal" by Evanescense is one of the most streamed songs you will hear when visiting a memorial page.
..but for me, the lyrics and Native/Ambient beat is very powerful.
It's from "Requiem for the Americas (Songs from the Lost World)" An amazing compilation from composer Jonathan Elias, in 1989.
Featuring Toni Childs,
Track 2: "I've not forgotten you"
Take me back..
..take me back.
To the place that i once knew when i was young.
Out beneath the star's where we surrendered.
Following the rhythm here.
Born out from the river.
I have not forgotten love..
..dreams that never die.
Take me back.
To feel the rush of love come pouring in..
I'm trying to get closer now,
..to hands that reach forever here.
I have not forgotten love,
Dreams that never die.
Waiting for the night to pass,
..pass into another way.
Hold me now within your heart,
..the love we share can never die..
I can see forever.
I can look beyond the stars.
I will run forever,
..always letting go.
Of Love.
..Of Life.
Now my breath can fade away,
..pass into another way.
I feel my body one last time.
Out beyond forever.
Nothing is so simple.
..Nothing is that Cold.
Nothing lasts forever..
..'last i close my eyes.
