What should England do about Iran?

How far do you think England should go in punishing Iran if they dont get their soldiers back?

First it is important to know that Iran can not hold british soldiers for a long time, that is because Iran knows that doing so would have consequences especially with the second UN security council regulation which imposes further sanction on Iran.
Secondly, british forces were doing their daily job: inspecting merchant ships in order to detect guns smuggling into Iraq. so they might have entered Iranian borders before, but why did Iranians arrest them this time?
The answer is because in this very moment Iranian government wants to test british (or better to say western countries especially: England, Germany, France & USA) talorance; and find a clue on what might be the reaction of western countries if a confrontation was about to be setupon. So as you see this aggressive movement made by iran, is just a start on a political cat and mouse game.

So, in my opinion, british government should play a really smooth and gentle behaviour in order to hide it's hand from the Iranian government; so that they become unable to guess western countries next movement. Which would be through political negotiations and deplomatic ways.
