Wearing bra (especially ones with underwire) even if you aren't pregnant has to have a limitation. Not only does it cause the toxins, which causes the growth of tumors, from your breasts to get stuck instead of getting washed out by circulation, but it also causes your muscular fibers around your breasts to be dependent with the material and can't be able to support the breast much anymore. This results to saggy breasts instead of firm ones. During pregnancy, the breasts will swell due to the production of milk in your mamariglands and, like it or not, your breasts will get loose when the milk production stops. Wearing a bra could help a bit and it also helps keep the breasts in place instead of bouncing or swaying too much (less pain). It isn't advisable for you to wear a bra all the time though. Especially NOT when you sleep! And it is good if you massage your breasts lightly after removing the bra in order to improve your circulation.

Honey your breasts will droop after having a baby & breastfeeding no matter what you do. I think for support you need to be wearing one during the day. Pregnancy is uncomfortable enough so i'm sure you don't need a bra as well when you finally get into bed at night.

I've had the same problem, with them being extremely uncomfortable. Underwire or no underwire. For a bit of support, I've started wearing those maternity shirts that have them already built in. They don't offer as much support as a real bra but they're far more comfortable and they're so much better than nothing at all.

it's perfectly safe, and it doesn't give you breast cancer that's ridiculous. I think the only reason many women don't wear underwired bras during pregnancy is because your breasts are growing so quickly that the underwire can poke you and get really uncomfortable. Same thing with wearing heels, just because they make your feet hurt doesn't mean you CAN'T wear them or they would somehow hurt the baby, it's just not comfortable.

People say that you are suppose to wear one but with my daughter and son a bra was very uncomfortable. So I used old A- shirts of my husbands under my shirts for a little of support. But my best answer is whatever makes you comfortable.

I learned that you should not wear a bra 24/7 and you should not wear a bra with an underwire because this would cause you to have problems later (I learned that one the hard way when I had mastitis - a condition that happens to nursing moms). Talk with your doctor and ask him/her what he/she thinks and get their opinions. This is what they are around for.

im 35 weeks now and having a bra on all the time is NOT comfy. im rather large chested and im only 20 so after my baby i dont want to be hanging down to my belly, so during the days and even sometimes at night i wear a sports bra, it really helps keep some pressure off of my back and keeps me from leaking milk, and some nights i sleep without one on so that they can get better circulation and so that im sure to massage them.

if u feel comfortable in them, fine, wear them, if u don't don't bother urself about sagging of breast. when ur breasts are fuller as a result of pregnancy or breastfeeding, wearing a bra does little to prevent sagging. But u can wear them just to make ur boobs look beautiful and firm especially to ur spouse.

i only wear one when i have to such as going out in public or i have visitors. i am now 37 weeks pregnant with my third and i find it way to uncomfortable. i did the same with my other two pregnancies and my breasts aren't saggy at all. i guess it just depends on the woman. not everyone is alike.
