there are always two points of view:

Positive:
The game will have lots of fun especially when you finished the game, also it allows players to speed things up, and allows the players to get the most of the hard things hidden in the game

Negative:
The thrill and adventurous thingy are gone, little amounts to work hard for and some players want more action than the easy things

for me.... it always depends on my mood and the game

boring game = more cheats
nice and large covering game = few cheats(or sometimes none)

I find that I get the greatest value from gaming if I try and accomplish as much as I am capable prior to using cheats. Although on occasion I will use one just to get past a certain area that is driving me nuts.

I love them, my son hates them.
It all depends on the person and I feel that as long as the game you are playing is not a player vs player game that it shouldn't matter. In a verses situation I feel each player should have the same advantages.
