hi am a Kenyan in Kenya the general elections are in December this year(2007) and the 3 elections have experienced have not been chaotic Kenyans are peace loving people and by the time you come to our beautiful country next year the political temperatures will have cooled down you are very welcome

hi, i'm a kenyan too and have been there during the past 2-3 elections. they used to be chaotic before...but now its quite safe. there were hardly any riots in the past 2 elections, and i'm sure even the next one will be over in a calm way. so don't worry too much about it...enjoy ur trip to kenya! karibu!!

no but its not during the elections its for 3 months before, as they try to move as many residents around the country , (burning looting and murder), so they do not have voting papers. always happens, so find out when and stay away.
was there in 97 when it was all happening so i think its 2009.
