pc turning on but not showing on monitor. I thought it was the graphics card but isnt cause i got a new one and still not working:( It isnt the monitor cause it works just says no signal when pc is on. Could it be the motherboard or CPU? The keyboard light doesnt come on now on my G15 keyboard when on? haven't an idea.

did you check all the cables to make sure they are tight? i know it sounds stupid but sometimes it's just not in there tight enough, only other thing I would say is there is something wrong with the moniter

If your fans and stuff are still going, its not your power supply. It could be that your motherboard doesnt have onboard graphics and windows may not have the right default drivers for your advice. But if you have a new graphics card, thats unlikely. Check your cables and make sure everything its plugged in. Also check your cables and see if anything is bent or broken. Make sure that your graphics card is plugged in correctly.

Ultimately, if the computer and fans are running, and the monitor says no signal detected, then there is a fault between the graphics card and the monitor. Try booting in safe mode to see if the drivers are the problem. (Press F8 while booting)

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Does your monitor have more than one input? Many of the LCDs have a digital and an analog input. Find the input selector and cycle through to see if there is anything on any input.

If that does not work or you do not have inputs, try plugging the monitor up to another computer to make sure the problem isn't with the monitor.

Assuming you have tightened the video cable...

You may need to change your BIOS. Usually, windows can find whatever monitor is hooked to your computer--unless the BIOS settings are specifying the wrong video output.
